The last week of our break was very nice and relaxing. We did a lot of this:

But we also worked on our house. We had a lot of little projects that needed to be finished.
Ty installed a chandelier that we got for Christmas from my Nanny. He took the old light fixture and hung it in our entry way to replace a really outdated one. The chandelier really makes a difference in the room.

We also planted two redbud trees in our front yard. Okay, I really mean Ty planted two redbuds! I can't wait for them to bloom in the spring. They produce the prettiest pink flowers.
We touched up the paint in our bathroom and cleaned the house. Ty even cleaned out his office. You can see the floor again!
The weather was amazing this past weekend. It was 73 degrees on Saturday! We took Nuts to the Bark Park twice over the weekend. Its so funny to watch the little dogs interact with each other. Its just a bunch of sniffing and walking around. And then you look over to the big dog side and they are playing fetch and chasing each other. It looks like a lot more fun than the small dog side, but I don't think Nuts could handle all those huge dogs! Good thing there is a fence separating the two sides.
We throughly enjoyed our time together. It was a much needed break from work and school. We were able to just hang out and enjoy each others company without the stress of med school looming over our heads. Now I am counting down the days until our next break together!
