I love to have candles lit all over my house. This stems from my momsy, who always has candles burning. My favorite scents are usually some form of vanilla or floral scent. I do not like spices, especially cinammon. For my birthday last year my SIL, Sarah, introduced me to Autumn Apple from Bath and Body Works. It is my new favorite scent. I am not usually an apple person, but this candle is amazing! It can smell up a whole room. I hate buying candles that smell good in the jar, but then can't produce a fragrance when lit. Not the case with this candle!
The husby and I are obsessed with making sure that our house does not smell like Nuts, our sweet little puppy. (Ok, he is not a little puppy...he is a year old.) We are always asking Chesley if our house stinks. Poor Chesley is always put on the spot, but we rely on her to tell us the truth. This candle plus some febreeze helps us keep our house from smelling like a dog.
What are your favorite scents? Do you have an amazing candle that can make your entire house smell good?
I love this scent too!! It's my favorite one for fall. I also like Spiced Pumpkin from Yankee Candle. We have 3 little yorkie poos (my hubby loves dogs, me not so much)anyway, I don't want our house to smell either!

I love me some Yankee candles! They last forever and smell scrumptious! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of anything hazelnut. There is something rich about that smell. I change my favorite scents based on the season. Summer is for light and airy; fall and winter get hazelnut or apple pie.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally in the mood for some yummy fall smelling candles. Gotta put that on my list. And we are just like you guys - candles and febreeze so we don't smell like a dog.
ReplyDeleteI have a Salt City cancle that I love. It's balsam scented, so I burn it during December. I use fake c-mas trees, so with this candle, it's like I have the real thing in the house.
ReplyDeleteI also love Yankee's Macintosh apple candle.
We LOVE candles too, I think if all of them were lit at once we look like pyros, ha! We have a lot from Bath and Body Works (I used to work there years and years ago:)), and they've been pretty nice, we were just saying we need to lite them more, even when people aren't coming over :)
ReplyDeleteI love candles too.
ReplyDeleteMcIntosh Apple from Yankee is my favorite..along with Mid Summers Night and Fresh Clean cotton..
I love Bath and body works candles too..

ReplyDeleteHands down, I love Autumn Wreath (Yankee Candle). So good I wish I could burn it all year.
ReplyDeleteWell, you probably won't like this one, but my favorite candle scent is Pumpkin Spice from Yankee Candle. I love it! I might have to try this apple one though, sounds yummy too!

My favorite one was one that Bath & Body Works put at Christmas one year. Can't remember the name because I went crazy burning it...but it was worth it. : )

Your blog is cute, found your via House of Whimsy!
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to candles I seem to like the spice ones. My new favorite candles are actully from Wal-mart, I came across them about a month ago, they are soy, and priced so wonderfully that I burn them everyday. I love the creamy hazelnut, but have to say that the ginger bread smells good as well as the fresh cotton.
I have a blog award for you!
ReplyDeleteI love a good smelling candle. I burn one daily. I have tried so many kinds, but have to admit that I usually revert to good old vanilla as it always is the most pleasant to me. I also like hazelnut and irish creams and scents like that.
