I need to know what shows ya'll are watching this summer. Since Ty is busy studying in the evenings I spend a big part of my time watching t.v. I always dread this dead part when all the seasons have ended for the summer. I'm really bad about knowing what is on and when it comes on. I have been watching the Bachelorette, but other than that I haven't consistently watched anything. So I need to know what you guys are watching. Help me out! Other wise I might have to actually start cleaning my house every night. haha!
I watch The Bachelorette and Here Come the Newlyweds both on Monday night.
ReplyDeleteOh honey, summer is my prime TV watching part of the year. Which is really sad that I get sooo excited over TV, but, um, I live a rather boring and uneventful life, so, whatever. Burn Notice (Thursdays, USA), The Closer (Mondays, TNT), Army Wives (Sundays, Lifetime), Jon & Kate Plus 8 (Monday, TLC), What Not To Wear (Fridays, TLC)....and anything on The Food Network, HGTV and of course, re-runs of The Office.
ReplyDeleteThere you have it, my summer TV lineup. :)
I really love here comes the newlyweds...it's just so funny! I've also been watching a lot of HGTV.
ReplyDeleteThat's about all I've got....There's a new series called Hawthorne that coming to TNT...It looks pretty great!
i probably won't be too much of a help, since we don't have cable. but i too am watching bachelorette, and the new show that comes on after it...newlyweds. i am also following So You Think You Can Dance and Wipeout!
ReplyDelete"So You Think You Can Dance". It's on right now and very entertaining. It makes me-non-dancer extraordinaire-want to get out and take dance lessons right away!
ReplyDeleteHere Come the Newlyweds, Wipeout, Jon & Kate Plus 8, Army Wives... and that's all I've got for now!
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I'm a reality tv junkie!
ReplyDeleteOH NO!!! Don't resort to cleaning!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm with you though, I hate this time of the TV year... there's just nothing on. It seems like this is when they bring out all the lame shows to see if they'll make it. And most of the time they don't. LOL
So You Think You Can Dance is AMAZING! I also like Real Housewives of New Jersey, and I think Project Runway will be back sometime this summer.
ReplyDeleteYou can also count on Law and Order to be on USA. haa
I have started watching the new "Southern Belles" -- it is pretty good so far!
ReplyDeleteSome have already been mentioned, but bear repeating: Jon and Kate plus 8, Southern Belles, Real Housewives of New Jersey.
ReplyDeleteI also watch Tori and Dean, Home Sweet Hollywood. I don't know your tastes, but personally I like Gathy Griffin, My Life On The D-List. A new show that I LOVED was the premiere episode of Glee on Fox. (Think High School Musical without the sachrine sweetness). Unfortunatly I just looked it up, and the rest of the season doesn't start until September. :(
Also, The Secret Life of the American Teenager starts up again on June 22. Can't wait!
Well, we don't have cable but I am addicted to watching The Office on hulu!!! I also like to watch old shows on Hulu like I Dream of Jeannie etc. ♥
ReplyDeleteha ha ha - i NEED this post! i was trying to set up the dvr at home and forgot what i used to watch!
ReplyDeleteI dont have a lot of time for tv...so I Netflix some tv shows. How I Met You Mother is great!
ReplyDeleteBachelorett...Tori and Dean Home Sweet HOme (Tori Spelling), and of course the Duggers,....Jon and Kate plus 8 and my Favorite is Big Brother
ReplyDeleteI don't watch much of the shows every else does. I hate reality TV (with the exception of "the real housewives..."). I love watching reruns of Law and Order though. And Court/Tru TV. Anything science/forensic related. :)
ReplyDeletewe don't have cable, but when I watch tv, I like the fashion shows (like what not to wear and 10 years younger.) I also love the decorating shows, the food network, and tv land. (with I love lucy, I dream of Jeannie, Andy griffith,...)
ReplyDeleteSo you think you can dance, Burn notice and Big Brother
ReplyDeletei cracked up at your last comment on my blog, i usually always have to know what everyone else is ordering before i order too, haha! and then sometimes i try to convince hubby to get something so i can share his too, hahaha!
ReplyDeletedef so you think you can dance...i'm the same way hubby is the one that knows what show is on what channel, we just saw the newlyweds show last night and it was pretty funny, i'll have to ask hubby, ha!

ReplyDeleteGo find a show you used to love, or one that you heard good things about but never got into, and watch every episode from start to finish. It's AWESOME!
I've heard Mad Men is really good, so I am going to start watching that. Also watch the bachelorette!
ReplyDeleteI have to warn you, I don't think I'm known for my great taste in quality tv shows. :) Some of my favorites are the Housewives of NJ, Southern Belles of Louisville, and Tori and Dean.
ReplyDeleteYou know I'm a sucker for Real Housewives, and I love Army Wives!
ReplyDeleteI'm watching the Bachelorette and So You Think You Can Dance! I also watch Greek.

I'm with ya! Summer TV is so boring! We have Netflix and I love watching shows on DVD. We've really enjoyed Dexter and Big Love!
ReplyDeleteI watch:
ReplyDeleteJ&K+8 and the Real Housewives of New Jersey
So You Think You Can Dance is my favorite...and actually the only thing in my DVR :(
ReplyDeleteI'd love to send you an invite. What's your e-mail address?
I'm watching Here Come The Newlyweds. It comes on on Monday nights at 10pm on ABC. Such a cute reality show!
ReplyDeletewho knows?! i'm so out of the loop! can't wait to read what every one else says! haaa
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering this. Let me know if you get a viewing schedule put together... I may just have to borrow it!
ReplyDeleteWipeout is good for some great laughs- perfect stress reliever to laugh at others pain (and stupidity)!
ReplyDeleteI love Army Wives so that's my suggestion! It's a great show and the first episode of the season aired last night!
