• I go back to work on Monday. I love my job, but I am going to be so heart broken to leave Jack.

• I want to go fall clothes shopping so bad, but I am still losing the baby weight. Fall is my favorite clothing season.  One thing I can purchase now and not have to worry about it fitting in a few months is a leopard scarf. I'm on the hunt for the perfect one.

• I have a great pair of brown boots, but I can't help but want another pair. I love these Frye boots.

• Ty is taking off work tomorrow and I can't wait to have a long weekend together. Residency has been really tough lately, and with the addition of Jack I feel like Ty and I are strangers. We don't see each other much, and I miss him.

• Watching these two together makes my heart melt. It doesn't matter what they are doing, even if Ty is having to read for a case the next day, I just love seeing them together. 

Poor Nuts has been kicked out of the coveted study buddy spot. For old times sake:

Two Months

Jack,
You are two months old! This month, really the last couple of weeks, have brought about so many changes in you. We started the month off with a fussy baby battling digestion issues and have ended the month with a smiley baby boy.

You are alert for longer periods and love to be on your back all stretched out. You kick and kick and smile and smile. You love to be on your changing table. This is probably where you are the happiest. Jack, you have started to coo and I just love the sound. We have the best conversations. :) You enjoy your baths until it is time to get out. The air is just so cold. Poor thing. I wrap you up in your fluffy, blue blanket afterward and you calm right down. You love that blanket.

You are still a little snorter. It is quite amusing. You also still sneeze quite a bit. The past couple of weeks, you have decided that napping is best done in my arms. I love this, but it means not much gets done during the day. I'm not too concerned about it. I'm going back to work soon, so I want to soak in all these little moments with you. You are only waking up once at night and it is so nice to get a longer stretch of sleep.

Your dad had another crazy month at the hospital and we both miss him. You had several visitors this month, and you met your Uncle Derek, Aunt Amy and Lillian for the first time. 

You are really starting to fill out and I love your little rolls. Your dad and I are always talking about how cute you are! We are your biggest fans!
