Fabric Help!

Last Fall I bought this little set at a garage sale. I have been meaning to recover the seats ever since. This isn't the best picture, but the fabric right now is blue and white checked. And yes there are 2 cushions. I'm not sure why the other one didn't make this picture. I already had this pic on my computer and didn't have the energy to take a new one.

I am being really indecisive about which fabric to order. None of the stores here carry anything I like. This is where you all come in: Help me pick a fabric!!! I am also going to make two pillows for a bench that we have sitting on the front porch out of whatever fabric I buy to recover those seats.
A.

B.

C.
D.

E.

Ty wants a little bit of color hence option C, but I don't think it will look good on the bench near our red front door. Alright, help this indecisive blogger out! :)

  1. why not spray paint the iron a diff color (light blue or green) and then do option B or E?... kills two birds with one stone!

  2. If you want to keep things simple, I say stick with options A or D. There's nothing wrong with understated. But if your hubby wants a little color, why not spray the set (if you don't mind the extra work) and use the lighter fabric?

Personally, I love option A, but that's just me. Have fun with this new project!

  3. My vote is for A or D - being outdoor I would be ocncerned about stains showing. I agree with Miss Anne or The Southern Lady and paint the iron for color.

  4. I can't pick the blue because I think it would stain easily... so I pick the last one. Spray painting is also an interesting option to get some color on the set!

  5. I love them all, especially B! I think C could work with your red door depending on what shade of red it is...

  6. All of them are great fabric choices. So tough! Good luck making a choice!

  7. B or E...I think those will work and be bold enough but not show too much dirt!

  8. gosh I love all these! I think the blue may get a bit dirty outside! I think the damask patters would be the bigger contrast or more "popping" :) Can we go garage selling together??

  10. A or B
The darker ones will stay cleaner longer in my opinion.

  11. I like B & C...so many different opinions though! Got to be tough!

  12. Hmm, I just love black and white, so they all made my heart melt! I think that I like D. I don't think that I've ever seen that fabric before.

  13. What a fun project and what pretty choices you have found. B is my favorite!

  14. I love c but I'd be worried about it getting dirty?

    I love A a lot!!

  15. I love B,C, & E; however, I am afraid C & E would get dirty so I would go with B :)

  16. I vote for A or D! I think that these patterns are unique compared to B and E, which you see in stores more readily. Plus, these are black so you wouldn't have to worry about them getting as dirty!

  17. I have to agree with Ty on this one. I'm partial to the blue. And I don't think it would look bad at all beside your red door!

  18. I like B the best too!

The blue would look nice with the red door I think, if you did decide to go for colour!

I hope you're having a good week xx
