I know that several of you have tweeted, blogged, etc about how sad you all are that conde nast is shutting down several more magazines due to the economy: Cookie, Modern Bride, Gourmet...and the one that has been out of commission for a while, Domino.
This has nothing to do with magazines, but
I left my phone at home today and I feel all out of sorts.
I will have to check that online mag out. I also hate not having my cell!

ReplyDeleteLike Trace and Sarah, I too, just ordered Cookie through a school fundraiser. When I went to their website, I didn't see any announcements of the magazine's closure.

Isn't it crazy how lost we feel without our phones? What did our parents do when they were our age? :)
ReplyDeleteI was so sad about Cookie. It was a family magazine that wasn't frumpy. Such a bummer about Gourmet too!
ReplyDeleteI feel completely lost without my phone, it's become like another limb or something. It's hard to even imagine a time I wasn't completely dependent on having it around!

ReplyDeleteI feel totally lost w/o my phone. I really can't stand it. And will do anything to get it quickly -- I've taken my "lunch break" to go home before. I am addicted to my phone! I feel just as lost when it dies. Horrible...
