spice things up

I have a pretty plain work wardrobe. I like simple, classic clothes. I end up wearing a lot of cardigans to work. That can get pretty boring, even though I love my cardis.

This is my new way to spice up my library lady wardrobe.
A skinny belt and a clip-on flower

I wonder if I can get away with wearing this with all of my clothes. Then people would refer to me as the girl that wears a flower right under her breast. lovely.

Forever 21 is the best place to find skinny belts. The one above was $2.50!

    You look super cute! Cardis are classic and never overdone, in my opinion. Love the idea for skinny belt and clip on flower! I bought a belt/sash from J.Crew outlet and it already has the flower attached but your way would be much cheaper and fun to change up the flower! I'll have to try that with the flowers and belts I have at home. Thanks!

    im all about cardigans for work, too !! well, mainly because my office can be zero degrees sometimes, but they're always cute additions either way :) forever21 is my work clothes mecca.. i love it so much - such great stuff for very low prices! and cute, too!

    I too wear super-simple clothes... and I LOVE the belt and the flower.

    I wore practically the same thing to work yesterday! I've recently tried adding the skinny belt into my wardrobe and I love it! Its definitely a sinple way to add a little style :)

    Adorable! I love the idea of adding the flower to the belt. Totally not library lady! Though, I do know what you mean. Sometimes I feel like plain jane going to the office. But I sure wouldn't with an adorable belt like that!
